Job Description

As a Graduate Sales Academy (GSA) Intern, you will work part-time during the school year while supporting our outside sales team in the district. You will gain hands-on experience working directly with various Lennox team members including Counter Sales Associates, Inside Sales Representatives, Territory Managers as well as engaging and building relationships directly with our customers.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Responding to and investigating customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone or email and working directly with dealers during marketing campaigns.
  • Under direct supervision, selling products, services, supplies to selected customers in a designated market area or accounts via inbound or outbound telephone contacts.
  • Helping to generate leads for outside sales team.
  • Collaborating with and supporting our field sales team, including limited field activity.

Qualifications

Skills & Expectations:

  • Ability to work 15-20 hrs per week
  • Seeking current seniors with December 2022 or May 2023 graduation dates
  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience a plus; including prior retail sales experience, counter sales or cashier and cash operations experience.
  • Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software and Internet proficiency
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships, listen, negotiate and manage time.
  • Ability and willingness to relocate upon graduation a plus.
  • Upon completion of your GSA internship and BS/BA graduation, successful candidates will join Lennox full-time and begin the Graduate Sales Academy (GSA) which includes an 18-week paid training & development program comprised of Outside Sales and Customer Service classes. Based on your career interests and business needs, you have the opportunity to start your career journey as an Inside Sales Representative, Store Manager, or Territory Manager.
